I struggled with suicidal thoughts in 2023–2024. All of it was due to my epilepsy. Constant paramedic visits, hospital trips, and lab work were exhausting.

Then I had a tremendous seizure, and afterward I couldn’t walk well. My legs were wobbly and turned outward, and that pushed me into a deep depression. I started cutting my thighs and later other areas.

I even tried to take my life once before a youth camp. Impact and Dreamer Camp changed everything. They opened my eyes and reminded me that I had made an oath—one I needed to fulfill before leaving this earth.

Something else that helped me was one of our pastors, Joas. He prayed for me and told me I had a purpose, whether I could walk or not.

Now I am using every tool I was given by my leaders: the Way, the Truth, and the Light.

Luché con pensamientos suicidas en 2023–2024. Todo se debía a mi epilepsia. Las constantes visitas de paramédicos, los viajes al hospital y los estudios médicos eran agotadores.

Luego tuve una convulsión muy fuerte y, después de eso, no podía caminar bien. Mis piernas estaban inestables y se abrían hacia afuera, y eso me llevó a una depresión profunda. Empecé a cortarme los muslos y después otras partes de mi cuerpo.

Incluso intenté quitarme la vida una vez, antes de un campamento de jóvenes. Pero Impact y Dreamer Camp cambiaron todo. Me abrieron los ojos y me recordaron que había hecho un compromiso con Dios, un compromiso que debía cumplir antes de dejar esta tierra.

Algo más que me ayudó fue uno de nuestros pastores, Joas. Él oró por mí y me dijo que yo tenía un propósito, pudiera caminar o no.

Ahora estoy usando cada herramienta que mis líderes me enseñaron: el Camino, la Verdad y la Luz.
