Years of Agony, One Moment of Healing

Santiago 5:14-15 — RVR1960 14 ¿Está alguno enfermo entre vosotros? Llame a los ancianos de la iglesia, y oren por él, ungiéndole con aceite en el nombre del Señor. 15 Y la oración de fe salvará al enfermo, y el Señor lo levantará; y si hubiere cometido pecados, le serán perdonados.


Tenía muchos años sufriendo de dolor de espalda debido a un accidente en el que la parte baja de la columna vertebral se fracturó. Tuve que arreglármela por mí mismo, pero nunca sanó y no había operación que pudiera curar ese daño.

Cada día era para mí como una tortura; no podía ni siquiera dormir por el dolor, porque el coxis se salía de su lugar y lastimaba los nervios. Ni siquiera podía moverme.

Pero un día, cuando fui al servicio del domingo en Familias En Acción, el Pastor Jabin hizo un llamado a todos los que tenían dolor de espalda para que fueran sanados.

Pasé con fe, creyéndole a Dios que Él tiene el poder de sanar y restaurar todo, y fui sanada. Lo supe cuando regresé a mi asiento y sentí como si me sentara entre algodones.

No me cansaré de darle gracias a Dios. ¡A Él sea la honra y la gloria!

James 5:14-15 — NKJV 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.


I had been suffering from back pain for many years due to an accident in which the lower part of my spine was fractured. I had to manage it on my own, but it never healed, and there was no surgery that could fix it.

Every day felt like torture; I couldn’t even sleep because the tailbone would slip out of place and hurt my nerves. I couldn’t even move.

But one day, when I went to the Sunday service at Familias En Acción, Pastor Jabin made a call to everyone who had back pain to be healed.

I went forward in faith, believing God has the power to heal and restore everything, and I was healed. I knew it when I returned to my seat and felt as if I were sitting on clouds.

I will never tire of giving thanks to God. To Him be all the honor and glory!
